To mark the 84th national meeting of Alpine troops, a free screening of the film Maciste alpino (The Warrior) by Luigi Maggi and Luigi Romano Borgnetto with a live piano accompaniment by Stefano Maccagno.

For IL CINEMA DEGLI ALTRI and marking the 84th national meeting of Alpine troops, the National Cinema Museum presents a screening of Maciste alpino (The Warrior) by Luigi Maggi and Luigi Romano Borgnetto, on Friday, 6 May, at 9 p.m., in Cinema Massimo’s Screen Three, screening a copy restored by the National Cinema Museum in partnership with the Borough council of Valtournenche and the Fondazione Cineteca Italiana film archive of Milan. The screening will have a live piano accompaniment provided by Stefano Maccagno and it will follow four silent documentaries found by the ANA National Association of Alpine Troops and restored by the museum. Free admission.
