For the thirtieth anniversary of Valerio Zurlini’s demise, the National Cinema Museum offers a tribute to this filmmaker from Bologna – a sensitive and alert inquirer into the impulses of the soul – with an extensive retrospective titled Soulscapes. Valerio Zurlini Retrospective, from Friday 15 to Friday 22 June. The retrospective will be inaugurated on Friday 15 June, at 4.15 p.m., on Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo, with the film screening of Le ragazze di San Frediano (The Girls of San Frediano), Zurlini’s 1954 debut into feature-length films, inspired by Vasco Pratolini’s eponymous novel. Admission: 6.00/4.00/3.00 euro.
