New rendez-vous for MAGNIFICENT VISIONS: The Permanent Festival of Restored Film with an evening entirely dedicated to director Giuliano Montaldo, on Tuesday 4 February 2014 at 8.15 p.m. on Screen Three at the Cinema Massimo, with the presentation of the book Un marziano genovese a Roma (A Martian from Genoa in Rome), by Giuliano Montaldo and Caterina Taricano. To follow, screening of the restored film L'Agnese va a morire (And Agnes chose to die). The film will also have a repeat screening on Wednesday 5 at 4.00 p.m.
During the presentation of the filmmaker’s first autobiography, the authors will be in conversation with illustrious figures from the Turin film scene, such as Giulia Carluccio, Renzo Ventavoli, Sandro Casazza and Ugo Nespolo. Admission free for the book presentation, 6.00/4.00/3.00 euro tickets for the film screening.
