Evening with SEEYOUSOUND, dedicated to the origins of hip-hop, with Danno, who will present Digging New York.

The SeeYouSound – International Music Film Festival collateral showcase is continuing, through an evening dedicated to the origins of hip-hop with the screening of this documentary shot by the Roman rapper Simone Eleuteri, aka Danno, at the Cinema Massimo. On this occasion, Danno will meet the public in the cinema.

 

Titled Digging New York, this is not the first Italian film about rap to have been released over the past years, but it is the first one to deal with the topic by inquiring into the origins of the New York hip-hop culture in the Eighties and Nineties which would shortly go on to influence young musicians worldwide. The film is enriched with graphic design by Masito, the co-founder of Colle der Fomento, together with Danno.
