For the occasion of the International Book Fair, a day dedicated to the screening of films from Spain, a guest country at the 2012 edition.


The National Cinema Museum, in collaboration with the 25th International Book Fair – OFF Salon (Turin, 10-14 May 2012), will dedicate an entire day to the screening of films from Spain, one of the guest countries at the 2012 edition.

The showcase, entitled STORIES FROM SPAIN, BETWEEN CINEMA AND LITERATURE, will be presented Sunday 13 May starting from 3 p.m., in the Events Room at the Library/Mediatheque.

 

The National Cinema Museum is also attending the Turin International Book Fair together with Il Castoro Publishing House. Il Castoro publications, the Museum and the Turin Film Festival catalogues and volumes and merchandise from the Museumstore will be available at the stand venue - Pavilion 2 Stand M102. New rendez-vous for the AMERICAN FACES. Four films with James Stewart showcase with the film screening of Call Northside 777 by Henry Hathaway, introduced by Nicolò Vigna, Monday 14 May, at 3.30 p.m., at the Library/Mediatheque.

For the occasion of BOLLYWOOD 2011: OFF AND ON THE SET, film screening of Enthiran (The robot) by S. Shankar and Chak de India! by Shimit.

 

For the occasion of BOLLYWOOD 2011: OFF AND ON THE SET – a cycle of events and screenings revolving around a photograph exhibition – the National Cinema Museum is hosting the screening of two films linked to Indian culture and cinema at the Library/Mediatheque: Wednesday 16 May, at 8.30 p.m., with the screening of Enthiran by S. Shankar and Friday 18 May, at 8.30 p.m., with the screening of film Chak de India! by Shimit Amin.
